It includes nine lessons, is available on demand, and, upon completion, offers learners a certificate they can share with their social networks, PayPal said in a Wednesday (May 13) <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.paypal-corp.com\/2026-05-PayPal-partners-with-Anthropic-to-Close-the-AI-Gap-for-Small-Businesses\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/about.pypl.com\/who-we-are\/executive-leadership\/Other-Senior-Leaders-Amy-Bonitatibus\/\">Amy Bonitatibus<\/a>, chief corporate affairs officer at PayPal, said in the release that this collaboration with Anthropic will help small- to medium-sized businesses harness the power of AI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether, we are equipping business owners and entrepreneurs with the tools, expertise and trusted infrastructure they need to compete and thrive \u2014 and creating new opportunities for them to innovate, grow and better serve their customers,\u201d Bonitatibus said.<\/p>\n<p>Anthropic AI Fluency Researcher\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kristennicoleswanson\">Kristen Swanson<\/a> said in the release that corner shops, solo founders and family businesses will lead the next wave of AI adoption.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAI\u00a0Fluency for\u00a0Small Business gives them practical, proven training that\u2019s already worked for more than a million learners,\u201d Swanson said. \u201cBy partnering with PayPal, we can help get important training and resources to millions of small businesses and entrepreneurs.\u201d<\/p><div id=\"pymnt-1806553567\" class=\"pymnt-content pymnt-entity-placement\" style=\"margin-top: 50px;\"><p style=\"text-align:center\">Advertisement: Scroll to Continue<\/p><script async type=\"text\/javascript\" id=\"dianomi_context_script\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dianomi.com\/js\/contextfeed.js\"><\/script> \r\n<div class=\"dianomi_context\" data-dianomi-context-id=\"4329\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>PayPal also announced in the release that when Anthropic\u2019s new Claude for Small Business plugin is connected to PayPal\u2019s platform, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/claude.com\/product\/overview\">Claude<\/a>\u00a0AI assistant can handle tasks such as invoicing and refunds. It requires approval before anything is sent or paid, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>Anthropic introduced Claude for Small Business\u00a0in\u00a0a Wednesday\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.anthropic.com\/news\/claude-for-small-business\">announcement<\/a>, saying this package of connectors and ready-to-run workflows puts Claude inside tools small businesses depend on.<\/p>\n<p>Together with PayPal, the tools that can integrate with Claude for Small Business include\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/\">Intuit QuickBooks<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hubspot.com\/\">HubSpot<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/canva.com\">Canva<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.docusign.com\/\">Docusign<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/workspace.google.com\/\">Google Workspace<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/microsoft-365\/microsoft-365-business\">Microsoft 365<\/a>, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n<p>Anthropic is also launching a Claude SMB Tour that will take Claude for Small Business on the road and offer live, half-day AI fluency training for 100 local small business leaders at each stop.
