Under the terms of the agreement, which remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, Bridgeport Partners is slated to take over operational control and direct the day-to-day management of these divisions upon closing.<\/p>\n<p>The maneuver aims to pair Fiserv\u2019s client relationships and foundational industry technology with Bridgeport\u2019s track record of scaling financial technology and payments-adjacent platforms, the release said. Bridgeport\u2019s principals bring more than four decades of experience in the banking and payments sector, focusing heavily on \u201coperational excellence\u201d and product innovation within established financial markets.<\/p>\n<p>Moving forward, the two companies will establish a formal governance structure to align on client outcomes and long-term value creation, according to the release.
