using them through Google Cloud, the announcement added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis joint venture with Blackstone helps meet growing demand for <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/news\/artificial-intelligence\/2025\/ai-tech-stack-business-guide\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TPUs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which are optimized specifically for efficiency and performance in the AI era,&#8221; said <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/thomas-kurian-469b6219\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thomas Kurian<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Google Cloud&#8217;s CEO.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Together, we\u2019re accelerating AI transformation and providing more options for organizations to access accelerated compute capability.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google\u2019s TPUs are custom chips optimized for training and inference in advanced AI models, and are used by outside customers such as AI labs and other firms.
