href=\"https:\/\/www.fisglobal.com\/about-us\/media-room\/press-release\/2026\/fis-launches-enterprise-risk-suite-on-aws-to-provide-continuous-cloud-native-delivery\">news release<\/a> Tuesday (May 19). \u201cThis deployment on AWS reduces this by delivering a cloud-native risk management platform that keeps financial institutions on the latest version of the software, continuously and without operational disruption.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the release, the platform\u2019s \u201cmicroservice-based, cloud-native architecture\u201d lets clients scale their risk architecture in the cloud and run \u201chigher volumes of calculations with lossless performance.\u201d With burst computing, clients can instantly gain additional processing power for large calculations or peak workloads, with no need for costly on-site hardware.<\/p>\n<p>The release noted that the launch is happening as financial institutions face increasing pressure to track a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/news\/b2b-payments\/2026\/banks-risk-slowing-the-emerging-middle-market-firms-driving-growth\/\">growing range of risks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, upgrading to a new software version has historically required firms to \u201cchoose between staying current and staying operational.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/andres-choussy-3a6100\">Andr\u00e9s \u201cdecisioning layer\u201d that shapes how payments are approved, optimized and secured in real time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCommerce itself is becoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/digital-payments\/2026\/ai-shopping-makes-context-the-new-payments-currency\/\">more automated<\/a>, personalized and AI-driven, especially as agentic commerce models emerge,\u201d PYMNTS wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The report\u2019s core finding is that not all data are equal. Historical transaction records alone are not enough in modern payments environments where AI systems increasingly initiate or guide transactions.
